One of my other passions in addition to designing wedding invitations is jewelry. I have a serious addiction. I love wearing it, designing it, searching for it on ebay. If you know me, you know I have gotten some serious deals over the years. My philosophy is that every woman should have at least one piece she loves (preferably more!) and it should be the real deal. No cheap costume stuff ever, and especially not on your wedding day.
Of course these days with the price of gold and platinum sky high what’s a girl to do? While I am not a fan of anything faux, I am a fan of quality that is affordable. Luckily there are some great options. Pictured above are 2 new earring designs which will be posted on the website soon… a little preview of our new line of semi-precious bridal jewelry. Great for the bride or the bridesmaids. Pictured left are clear faceted Chalcedony drops hanging from sterling silver petals with CZ stone accents (sorry ladies, diamonds are trés expensive) in a rhodium matte finish. On the right are faceted Blue Topaz drops hanging off a delicate leaf design also in sterling with CZ accents in a shiny rhodium finish. If you don’t know, rhodium is platinum. Its the same process jewelers use to make white gold “white”, so this is the same high-quality finish but on sterling. It has an equally gorgeous effect, but at a much lower price. As for durability…. it won’t tarnish or ever look inexpensive. Great quality jewelry that won’t break the bank and no one but you will know! Check the website soon for all the new designs. C’est Bon!!
