The front cover has a frame with a card with the names of the bride and groom floated on a burnished gold backing layer. The spine is tied with gold gossamer ribbon and finished off with a Swarovski crystal rosette. Bordeaux Luxury Wedding Invitation
Slowly pulling out of holiday mode and gearing up for the new year! Just posted a new design on the website. Behold… Bordeaux, our newest luxury invitation design! Marieleng and Joachim live in Singapore but are getting married in France at the fabulous Château de Bagnols! They wanted something in a classic old european style to match the feel of the chateau and give their guests a peek at the elegant event they have in store. The invitation matches the look of the chateau perfectly and has a wonderful old world feeling. We even included the chateau’s crest in the design.
Letterpressed in pale rose and wine ink to match the luxurious velvet cover, with side panels to hold different insert cards, we think this invitation sets the perfect tone for their romantic French country weekend wedding! Vive l’amour!

I’ve been taking a summer break from blogging for a while. Wish I could say it’s because I went on some fabulous vacation, but really it’s because we’ve been so darn busy with wedding season! We’ve done a lot of invitations this summer – some big, some small, all of them beautiful, but I especially love it when we get a bride who really wants something unique and elegant. Maria was also something of a rarity around here… a local bride. Most of our clientele tends to be east coast and while its wonderful working with brides across the country, it’s also great meeting them in person and having them stop by the studio : ) It’s so fun working one on one, designing for a client completely from scratch and coming up with something entirely new. Behold the fruits of our labor – our newest design …. Vienna! It might just be my new favorite in the Carciofi Design repertoire. Sumptuous, elegant and luxurious! A perfectly elegant invitation befitting an equally elegant event and beautiful bride.
