Los Angeles Stationery Boutique

Carciofi Design Paper Boutique & Studio

We are happy to announce that we are now open at our retail boutique location! For the past seven years we’ve been working out of our small studio and while it has served us well, we had outgrown the space and it was time to move into a space which would showcase our invitations to full advantage as well as our beautiful papers, ribbons and embellishments. We are also now carrying lines of stationery, gifts, handmade paper decor, artisan jewelry and of course our custom accessory items such as favors, table items and more. If you are local or in the area please stop by and see us. We’d love to meet you!!

My Fair Wedding – Redux!

Tuscany Bride Stationery - David Tutera
Custom Wedding Stationery Tuscany Bride – My Fair Wedding with David Tutera

Carciofi Design had the pleasure of designing stationery for two episodes of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera this season. Both shows were a lot of fun to work on. Working with David and his team is always great and they really do give you creative control to do your best. We first worked with David last season on the Minitruck Bride episode. This season we designed the printed materials for Tuscany Bride and Motown Bride. All three episodes are in rotation now on WeTV, so be sure and tune in and catch us!

Coordinating Your Wedding Theme

Butterfly themed matching menus, placecards, table numbers by Carciofi Design

I often have brides ask me how important it is to coordinate their invitations and reception stationery with their wedding theme and colors. No matter what kind of wedding you are having, your wedding is a reflection of you as a couple. When you send out invitations, you are setting the stage for what your guests should expect. That expectation should be carried through the day of your wedding by the setting and decor. Stationery is a big part of making a more personal impression about your event. Your theme and colors should be consistent and carried through from the invitation to the reception stationery, all the way through to the thank you notes. It’s the perfect way for you to add your special touch and make your wedding day memorable not just for yourselves but for each person you invite to share in one of the most important days in your lives.

Three in One… Custom Menu Frames!

custom luxury menu cards

Its a placecard, menu & favor all in one!

We’ve been working with one of our favorite wedding planners, Marie Danielle at À Votre Service Events and one of her clients for their wedding at the beautiful Oheka Castle in New York. The bride wanted something different, but very elegant for their reception menus, as well as the placecards and favors. Everything had to tie in together nicely with the reception decor, but she didn’t want the table too cluttered. So, after much brainstorming, we came up with the perfect solution… Behold the menu, placecard and guest favor all wrapped up in one! All made to match the invitations. Goes perfectly with the decor as well!

(1) A custom designed slipcover over the menu frame with guest name framed in a classic flourish with ribbon and rhinestone accents (top left image).
(2) Cover slips off to reveal wedding menu (bottom left image).
(3) After the wedding guests can stand the frame up and insert their own photo! (right image).
